When I decided to learn  papermaking I didn't anticipate being drawn into the book arts.
 But these arts exist in the same "room" and 
I love books, I love the feel of them, the weight, the promise.
 It was inevitable . 
Soon I moved away from the paper vat and settled happily into bookmaking.

Hunting down the best papers from the best sources is a part of my work that I truly love. 
Papermaking  taught me what to look for.
 
From  Albums to journals, to miniatures that you can wear on a chain...
 I have taken the book with me on this journey and I'm having so much fun. 


And now, having been unable to part with even a scrap of the wonderful papers I find,
 I have been making collage from them.

Almost all of my work contains inspirational words or quotes. 
They are the "simple songs" that complete each little creation that leaves the studio.
